Sacred Heart plans Cinco de Mayo event

Sacred Heart will host a Cinco de Mayo event from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, May 5, in the SH gym/Ruff Auditorium.

Dinner will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. It will feature all-you-can-eat authentic tacos, prepared by Hispanic members of the Sacred Heart parish, as well as chips, salsa and cheese dip.

Families are welcome.

Ticket prices are $15 for ages 12 and older, $10 for ages 6 to 12 years, and ages 5 and younger eat free.

Flashback will play from 8 to 10 p.m., sponsored by Petit Jean State Bank.

Tickets are available in the school office and at sacredheartmorrilton.org (click Support SHCS:Events).

All proceeds benefit Sacred Heart’s “Serve the Present. Honor the Past. Inspire the Future.” Capital Campaign. Sacred Heart has raised 90 percent of the $3 million goal to add six classrooms, a safe room and to expand the church vestibule.
