20 Jun 2018 Roe Paint Team shoots 56 to win Conway Regional Classic
The Roe Paint team shot a 56 and finished first in the 22nd Annual Conway Regional Golf Classic on June 4. Their score topped the two-round, four-player scramble, which featured 41 teams of amateur golfers.
Roe Paint was made up of Mike Roe, David Roberson, Josie Roberson and Billy Mayfield. Second place in the tournament went to the Centennial Bank team made up of Brad French, Josh Linden, Blake Williams and Kyler Sanson. Both teams played in the first flight of the afternoon round.
The third best team score of the tournament was a 57 shot by the Suspended Systems team of Robert Massery, Keller Schichtl, Breck Lovelady and Chad Campbell. They played in the first flight of the morning round.
The Coleman’s Office Supplies team of Troy Rice, Coy Roberts, Jim Campbell and Andy Blackwell played in the first flight of the morning round and shot a 58 for fourth place overall in the tournament.
The Farris Agency team of Alan White, Anthony White, Clint Smith and Brett Taylor shot the fifth best score, 59, playing from the first flight of the afternoon round. In sixth place, the David Nabholz team was made up of David Nabholz, Stuart Schichtl, David Roberson and Billy Mayfield. They played in the first flight of the morning round.
Remaining top teams in the second flight of the afternoon round were Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, 64; Patient Point, 64; and Cromwell Architects & Engineers, 65.
Remaining top teams in the second flight of the morning round were BXS Insurance, 65; First Security Bank, 66; and CoreSource, 66.
