20 Apr 2026 Rock Cities Book Crawl planned for Saturday across Little Rock, North Little Rock
The fourth annual Rock Cities Book Crawl is happening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, to celebrate Little Rock and North Little Rock’s independent bookstores. It happens every year on the last Saturday in April in conjunction with National Independent Bookstore Day.

This year’s theme is “A Spectrum of Stories: Reading the Rainbow across the Rock Cities.” The theme was chosen to highlight the diversity of bookstores in the Rock Cities, a reflection of the broader diversity of books and their readers!
When participants arrive at any location, they receive a collectible passport to carry to all the locations. Participants get a stamp just for showing up at the store, no purchase is necessary. Every store has fun promotions, activities, and giveaways going on throughout the day. When participants have visited every bookstore and gotten a stamp from every location, they immediately receive a vinyl sticker or a custom button with the same design while supplies last! Participants who complete the crawl will also be entered to win one of the eight custom, curated prize baskets filled with gift cards, art and other goodies from local businesses, artists and artisans.
Carpooling is encouraged so gas money can be saved to buy books. Go in any order, as long as you make it to every store before close of business, you’re golden! Speaking of Golden, every store (with the exception of The Book Store, NLR) will have a golden ticket from Libro.fm! If you find the golden ticket, you win 12 free audiobook credits from Libro.fm.
