Rheumatologist joins Conway Regional Health

Noha Mohamed, M.D., a rheumatologist, has joined the medical staff of Conway Regional Health System.

A rheumatologist is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and other immunologic diseases of the joints, muscles and bones.

Mohamed’s rheumatology practice will be located at Noydeen Medical Clinic, located at 655 Dave Ward Drive, Suite 103.

“I am excited and enthusiastic about working with Conway Regional. I am very much looking forward to serving the Conway community,” she said.

In addition to her full-time practice, Mohamed also serves as an assistant professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UAMS. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship and a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at UAMS. She was recently recognized by the American College of Rheumatology for proficiency of the use of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Rheumatology practice. She was also accredited by USSONAR (Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists).

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Mohamed to the Conway Regional Medical Staff,” said Rebekah Fincher, corporate director of physician relations and business development. “Partnering with Dr. Mohammed to join the Conway community will bring an expertise and service to Conway that does not currently exist. This highly sought-after medical specialty should make access to care for Conway and surrounding residents more easily and readily available.”

The Noydeen Medical Clinic also houses Dr. Ahmed Ali, an internal medicine physician. Ali is also a member of the Conway Regional Medical Staff and has been practicing in the Conway community for the past year. For more information, call 501.209.4040.
