26 Sep 2016 Registration event planned Oct. 1 for Komen Race for the Cure

A special event is planned noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in Downtown Conway in conjunction with this year’s Komen Arkansas Race for the Cure.

Tickled Pink will host a registration event, with an opportunity for participants to win a variety of prizes.

Shawna Long of Conway, this year’s chairman for Race for the Cure, has worked with Tickled Pink’s Stacy Vondran to create the event.

A portion of proceeds from sales made at the store will be donated to Komen Arkansas.

Those who register for the race will be entered into a special drawing for prizes, including a $100 gift certificate from Mike’s Place.

Refreshments will be served during the event.
