Program planned on Morrilton Depot

As part of its ongoing Centennial Celebration, the Conway County will present a program on the Morrilton Depot’s 100th Anniversary and the history surrounding it at noon Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Guest speaker Stewart Nelson will not only focus on the history of the depot, but also on some of the historical events and places of Morrilton. This should prove for a lively and interesting program, while also recognizing the historical significance of the beloved depot.

The folks from the depot will also sponsor a gift basket for this month’s drawing item, and will also decorate the Witt cabinet.

Call the library at 501.354.5204 for more information on this or any other Centennial Celebration programs.
