New issue of 501 Kids published

501 Kids is stressing the importance of giving back with its new edition which is hitting the streets.

“This edition is all about teaching children about service to others, with some suggestions on how families can help those in need, especially during the summer months,” said editor/publisher Sonja J. Keith.

In this edition, 501 Kids contributors Katelin Whiddon focuses on “Teaching children to give back” and Brittany Gilbert’s article is titled “Setting the example of a giving heart.”

This issue also features photos taken at the recent Disney in Concert: “Magical Music from the Movies” with the Conway Symphony Orchestra. The concert, presented by UCA Public Appearances, included a parade of costumed children led by 501 LIFE/501 Kids before the event. The sold-out concert was presented by 501 LIFE.

“One of the most popular features in the monthly edition of 501 LIFE is our ‘Loving LIFE’ photos, where individuals take a photo with a copy of the magazine to celebrate a trip or special occasion,” Keith said. “We are asking young people to do the same with 501 Kids. Just take a photo with the magazine and email it to [email protected].”

Other articles in this issue of 501 Kids include:

“Amelia’s garden room” by Donna Benton.

“A love of reading” by Amy Routt.

“Water safety” by Anne Fraley.

Copies of 501 Kids are available at the 501 LIFE office and at the following locations of advertising partners: Central Arkansas Pediatrics, Conway Regional Medical Center, First Security Bank, First Service Bank, Shoe Choo Train, St. Joseph School and AETN.
