03 Mar 2025 New electric vehicle charging stations available in downtown Conway

Conway Corp is proud to announce that two new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Arnold Innovation Center on Front Street are active. These stations are part of the utility company’s ongoing commitment to supporting sustainable energy solutions and enhancing convenience for EV drivers.

“An electric vehicle charger was part of the original plan to create a state-of-the-art facility at this location,” said Ronson Smith, Conway Corp (CC) electric systems senior engineer. “This Level II EV charger, along with supporting infrastructure, was installed as part of the Arnold Innovation Center by Robert Bailey Electric, Inc., a local construction company. We partnered with Brown Engineers, LLC of Little Rock to develop our EV charger standard, which meets Open Charge Point Protocol.”

Powered by CC, the Arnold Innovation Center’s charging stations will provide a new opportunity for visitors and residents to charge their vehicles. “It aligns with our mission to produce and deliver safe, affordable, reliable, innovative and environmentally sound services while enhancing the quality of life in our community,” said Crystal Kemp, CC’s chief marketing officer.
