Museum to host annual Frontier Fourth of July

LITTLE ROCK — Historic Arkansas Museum, an agency of Arkansas Heritage, will host its annual Frontier Fourth of July celebration on Tuesday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to noon on its historic grounds, 200 E. Third St., Little Rock.

During the event, visitors can march in a parade around the grounds, add a star for Arkansas to the U.S. flag, compete in sack races and enjoy watermelon and ice-cold lemonade. The day’s festivities will conclude with a reading of the Declaration of Independence.
