14 Jun 2026 Men of the Moment 2026: Keith Collard
Keith Collard believes banking is about far more than numbers and transactions. For the president and CEO of First Arkansas Bank & Trust (FAB&T), the industry is built on trust, responsibility and service to others. Throughout his career, Collard has focused on helping people achieve their goals while strengthening the communities the bank serves across Arkansas.

His background in audit, compliance and risk management gave him an early understanding of the importance of integrity and sound decision-making. Over time, he discovered the unique impact community banking can have on local families, businesses and economic growth. “That combination of problem-solving, leadership and serving communities is what made this industry the right fit for me,” Collard said.
As CEO, he especially enjoys the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both customers and employees. He values the relationships formed through banking and takes pride in helping clients plan for the future, purchase homes and grow businesses. He also enjoys fostering a strong team culture that encourages professional growth and shared success.
Collard has been part of numerous accomplishments during his career, including FAB&T being recognized multiple times as a Best Place to Work, a Best Bank in Arkansas and Military Bank of the Year. However, he says those honors are never about one person. Instead, they reflect teams working together with a shared purpose and commitment to excellence.
Outside the office, Collard enjoys golf and appreciates both the personal challenge and character the game requires. “Golf is a game of character and integrity, and I find those qualities carry over into the workplace and my relationships,” he said.
He is most proud of the people he works with. He credits their dedication, talent and work ethic for the bank’s continued growth and success while helping strengthen relationships with customers and communities throughout the state.
