14 Jun 2026 Men of the Moment 2026: Jon Patrom
Jon Patrom believes community banking is about far more than finances. It is about relationships, service and creating a lasting impact on the lives of others. As vice president of marketing for First Service Bank, he has spent more than two decades helping tell the stories of the people and communities that make local banking meaningful across Arkansas.

Patrom chose a career in banking because he enjoys helping people through every stage of life, whether it’s supporting local businesses, helping families purchase homes or simply offering guidance during difficult seasons. Over time, he discovered a passion for marketing because it gave him the opportunity to connect people and communities through storytelling and service.
Over the past 21 years with First Service Bank, Patrom has helped guide the organization through tremendous growth. When he joined the bank, assets totaled approximately $145 million. By the end of this year, the bank is expected to surpass the $1 billion mark. One of his proudest accomplishments has been helping lead the bank’s marketing efforts during that expansion while remaining focused on community impact.
He is also passionate about serving veterans and military families as a board member for the Operation Red, White and Brave Foundation. Supporting the organization and seeing communities rally together to honor veterans has been especially meaningful to him.
Faith and family remain at the center of Patrom’s life. He credits his wife, Katie, his son, Duncan, and the mentors and teammates who have supported him throughout his career. He is especially grateful for the leadership and encouragement he has received from those around him at First Service Bank.
“I’m blessed to be called a child of God,” Patrom said. “I have been blessed beyond measure by the relationships I’ve built over the years.”
