Jacob Flores has built a career around music, connection and authenticity. Through live looping, musicianship and technology, he creates the energy of a full band as a solo performer while entertaining audiences across Arkansas.

Music has been part of his life from the beginning. Raised in the Flores family music tradition, he grew up understanding the impact of live entertainment and the emotional connection music creates between performers and audiences.

“I believe God blessed me with a gift, and my responsibility is to use that gift to make a positive difference in the world,” he said.

Flores first gained recognition after winning the Henderson Idol singing competition while attending Henderson State University. He later auditioned for “The Voice” and appeared on Season 14 of “American Idol.” What began with asking a local restaurant whether they needed live music eventually led to 13 years of steady performances and statewide recognition.

Today, Flores is an eight-time consecutive Hot Springs Sentinel-Record Reader’s Choice Best Local Performer. He was featured on a cover of 501 LIFE Magazine in 2022 and has also been recognized by AY Magazine as one of Arkansas’s Best Local Musicians and named AY’s Best Local Artist in 2026. He regularly appears on THV11’s “The Vine” morning show and continues expanding his one-man band performances.

Despite the awards, his greatest accomplishment is earning the trust of audiences and becoming part of people’s most meaningful moments, from weddings and celebrations to school performances and community events. One of the greatest challenges of being a solo performer is creating an experience that connects with audiences of all ages and backgrounds — a challenge Flores embraces as an opportunity with every performance.

Beyond entertainment, he is passionate about speaking at schools, performing at nursing homes and participating in community events where his music and message can provide encouragement, connection and joy. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue growing as an artist, releasing new music and using his platform to inspire others.
