14 Jun 2026 Men of the Moment 2026: Connor Flagg
For Connor Flagg, working at First Security Bank is more than a career; it’s the fulfillment of a long-held goal. As a loan officer at the bank’s Greenbrier branch, he is grateful to be part of a team that shares his commitment to helping customers build stronger financial futures.

“Working for First Security has been a dream come true,” he said. “Our bank is filled with amazing people who want the best for our customers and for me.”
Flagg takes pride in guiding clients through meaningful financial moments, whether it’s helping a business owner reach a milestone or watching someone drive away in their dream truck.
“Financial success has always been important to me,” he said. “Being able to help others achieve their goals is a great feeling.”
As a young professional in the industry, he believes that character is the foundation of long-term success.
“Reputation is built in drops and lost in buckets,” Flagg said, quoting Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank. “Always uphold your character and reputation.”
He credits his success to the countless people who have encouraged him along the way. “My family, coaches and mentors have all pushed, challenged and supported me,” he said. “My wife, Kyndal, my parents, and mentors Joe Fitts and Tye Glover have been the most prominent, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without them.”
A former collegiate baseball player, Flagg stays active through basketball, slow-pitch softball, working out and cooking. When he’s not competing, he enjoys time with his wife and their dogs and cheering on their favorite NBA player, Anthony Edwards.
Looking ahead, Flagg plans to build his entire career at the bank.
“I plan to stay at First Security until I retire,” he said. “I want to continue serving Greenbrier and Conway while developing long-term connections with my customers. My goal is to help them create strong financial outcomes while setting them up for long-term wealth.”
