Maumelle chamber expo Feb. 28

The Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 17th Annual Maumelle Business Expo Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Jess Odom Community Center, located at 1100 Edgewood Drive in Maumelle.

This year’s theme is “MAUMELLE FORWARD…THE FUTURE OF MAUMELLE.”

The State of the City Lunch, sponsored by Kimberly-Clark Maumelle, will kick off the event.

Lunch will begin at noon in the South Room at the Jess Odom Community Center. Maumelle Mayor Caleb Norris will give an in-depth presentation on what the city has accomplished and what the future holds. In addition, the city will release a promotional video of Maumelle. Tickets for the event are $15. Doors for the Maumelle Expo open at 2 p.m. It will end at 6 p.m. The event is free to the public and every visitor has a chance to win a $500 cash prize.

This event has been highlighted as Maumelle’s largest business-to-business networking event of the year. The one-day event gives businesses and residents the opportunity make new contacts and improves existing business relationships with local organizations. It will feature more than 70 exhibits by local and regional businesses. Many of these organizations will be awarding door prizes, giveaways and prizes to attendees.

2019 presenting sponsors are Fidelity Communication and Farm Bureau Arkansas. Our media sponsors include Ashby Street Outdoor, Ashley Media and Celebrations Events. Participating sponsors for the Expo are Charlotte Potts Agency State Farm, Health Care Express, Regions Bank, Richardson Properties, LLC, Sherwood Urgent Care, Stifel and U.S. Bank. The Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce would also like to recognize its ongoing partnership with the City of Maumelle and the Maumelle Parks and Recreation Department.
