Maumelle business expo March 5

On Thursday, March 5, the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 18th Annual Maumelle Business Expo and Job Fair at the Jess Odom Community Center located at 1100 Edgewood Drive in Maumelle. 

The 2020 theme is Signs of Your Success. 

To kick off the 2020 Maumelle Expo, there will be the State of the City Lunch at noon in the South Room at the Jess Odom Community Center. Maumelle Mayor Caleb Norris will give an in-depth presentation on what the city has accomplished and plans for the future. Tickets for the event are $15 and include a catered lunch. 

Doors for the Maumelle Expo will open at 2 p.m. It will end at 6 p.m.

The event is free to the public and every visitor has a chance to win a $500 cash prize.

“This event has been highlighted as Maumelle’s largest business-to-business networking event of the year.” said Alicia Gillen, executive director of the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce. “This one-day event gives businesses and residents the opportunity make new contacts and improves existing business relationships with local organizations.” 

The Expo will feature more than 70 exhibits by local and regional businesses. Many of these organizations will award door prizes and giveaways to attendees.
