Ashley Cornett, a clinical dietitian in Wellness and Diabetes Education Services, will discuss maternal nutrition at the next meeting of the Great Start Lactation Club on Saturday, March 31.

Cornett has three years of experience as a clinical dietitian at Conway Regional Medical Center. She said the topic will cover pre and postnatal nutrition. 

The free support group meets at 10 a.m. the last Saturday of each month in the Conway Regional Women’s Center Classrooms 1 and 2.

Participants will also have the opportunity to weigh their babies and to discuss breastfeeding issues. Pregnant women are also invited to attend the group. The group is hosted by internationally certified lactation consultants Nancy Embry, RN, and Barbara Malott, RN.
