Main Street Morrilton plans ‘Munchin on Main’ March 25

Main Street Morrilton is partnering with the River Valley Food Truck Association to present "Munchin’ on Main – a city market with kids activities and live music on Saturday, March 25, in Downtown Morrilton. As part of the event, Main Street Morrilton will host the River Valley Food Truck Association’s inaugural "Arkansas Food Truck Race."

Sponsorship opportunities for the event are available from $100-$1,000 and will include recognition in event publicity, at the event and in food truck vouchers. City market booths are available for $25 each on a first-come basis. Live music featuring Matt Stell and other local artists will begin at 5 p.m.

The Arkansas River Valley Food Truck Association has chosen Morrilton as the third stop on the six-city tour. Five food trucks from Northwest Arkansas will set up on Railroad Avenue adjacent to the Morrilton Depot Museum to compete for the title of Arkansas’ greatest food truck. Trucks will be open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and for dinner from 5 to 8 p.m., or while supplies last. The four top-selling trucks will advance to the next location.

Among the food trucks participating in the event are Road Hog BBQ, Miss Muffett’s Cheese Curds, Two Guys Hibachi Express, La Rancherita, Cypress Knee Food and Trezvant’s BBQ. The top-selling truck at the end of the day will be the champion of the Food Truck Face-Off and will receive bragging rights as Main Street Morrilton’s first "Favorite Food Truck."
