LONOKE: Jackrabbits ready to climb the ranks in 2-4A

The Lonoke Jackrabbits finished fourth last fall in the 2-4A, sliding into the playoffs.

Several Jackrabbits return this fall, making Lonoke a dangerous team in the conference.

Senior SaVonte Rountree returns at quarterback. Junior Logan Dozier gives Lonoke an athletic and versatile threat at quarterback, running back and receiver. Senior Josh Coleman returns for his third year at running back. Senior Justin Meadows is Lonoke’s top returning threat at receiver. Junior Zach Murray leads the offensive line after earning all-conference honors last fall. Seniors Ethan Ellis, Lucas McKenzie and Kane Williams also have experience on the offensive line.

Junior Ricky Nichols returns on the defensive line at tackle alongside Williams at defensive end. Senior Ethan Holland returns for a third season at linebacker. Seniors Gabe Rooney and Lance Dugger both gained starting experience at outside linebacker last year. Senior Deondray Joyner leads in the secondary.
