Koontz Electric recognizes employees

Koontz Electric Company is dedicated to workforce development provides a work-based training program at no cost to employees. Earning while they learn with no debt puts workers hundreds of thousands ahead of many college degree programs. 

Koontz offers career paths that begin with entry level apprentices that have reached the corporate officers. 

Koontz Electric currently has 59 students in its federally certified apprenticeship program. 

The company recently recognized its largest Journeyman class in its 60-year history. These employees have completed 8,000 hours of on the job training, and successfully passed exams during 576 hours of classroom time over eight semesters, through four years of the apprenticeship program. It makes them eligible for the State of Arkansas Journeyman Electrician License upon successfully passing the state exam. This achievement is a testament to their dedication and commitment to their profession. 

Koontz Electric’s newest Journeyman electricians are Jordan Beck, Kyle Bright, John Cotner, Maurice Hawkins, Brian Ratzlaff, Darrell Egger, Derrick Barger, Jody Brown, Nathaniel Jackson, Quinton Richte,r Sergio Cortes, Scott Borden, Sharaz Rhodes, Troy Pierce, Weston Bounds, William Berry, Oswaldo Alvarez Garcia and Jacobe Kubli.
