Junior Auxiliary of Searcy welcomes incoming class

Junior Auxiliary of Searcy welcomes its incoming provisional class for the 2016-2017 year.

This group of ladies has shown interest in the Junior Auxiliary of Searcy Chapter and will be trained for six months, as well as attend Chapter meetings and work on projects to determine if they wish to volunteer their time to the community through this organization for the next five years.

Junior Auxiliary of Searcy was chartered in 1962 and currently has 23 active members who dedicated 1,204 hours in 2015-2016 on a variety of projects that focus on local children and families in need of assistance.  

Projects JA of Searcy supports include the Sunshine School, Searcy Learning Center, Food Baskets, Angel Tree, A Day of Caring and Covering Kids.

Junior Auxiliary of Searcy is a part of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA), a non-profit organization founded in 1941 with headquarters in Greenville, Miss. NAJA has more than 15,800 active, associate, and life members in 95 chapters in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
