Harding junior spends fall interning in Washington

Harding University junior Hall Frost spent the semester interning in U.S. Sen. John Boozman’s Washington, D.C., office on Capitol Hill.

Frost, an accounting major, participated in Boozman’s congressional fall internship program.

While in Washington, Frost fielded constituent phone calls; attended legislative briefings; assisted congressional staff on various projects; provided constituent services to visiting Arkansans; gave tours of the U.S. Capitol building; and shadowed Boozman during meetings, hearings and receptions.

“Interning for Sen. Boozman has been a very enriching experience,” Frost said. “This internship has provided me with countless opportunities for professional development as well as opportunities to learn about current proposed legislation, the functions of Congress and history.”

“Hall has been a tremendous asset to my team during his time in Washington. I appreciate his commitment and dedication to serving Arkansans and being an ambassador for our office,” Boozman said.

Frost is a 2015 graduate of Clarksville High School. He plans to attend law school after graduation.
