SEARCY – The 2021 Harding football team enters the season ranked No. 22 in the American Football Coaches Association Preseason Division II Coaches’ Poll, released Monday.

West Florida, who won the national championship in 2019, is the No. 1-ranked team.

Harding’s lone opponent in the preseason Top 25 is 11th-ranked Ouachita Baptist. Henderson State and Oklahoma Baptist are both receiving votes.

Harding was 10-2 in 2019 and qualified for the NCAA Division II playoffs for the fourth straight season.
