10 Oct 2012 Guy-Perkins to honor Hutchcraft
Guy-Perkins High School will honor Coach John Hutchcraft, a living legend in the area, for his contributions to the basketball programs on Friday night at the annual Blue-Gold game.
Banners commemorating the 13 state championships won by the boys and girls teams will also be presented.
Hutchcraft has been a part of 11 of the titles at Guy-Perkins.
Festivities start at 5 p.m. with the seventh grade game.
The presentation involving Coach Hutchcraft will take place in between the senior girls and senior boys games.
