Gospel artist declares ‘He’s Been Good’

Tangela Willis, whose artist name is Tanj, is making a big splash on the Gospel music scene with her new single, “He’s Been Good.”

The upbeat tune is Tanj’s testimony of God’s goodness in her life and is relatable to all those who hear the song. “He’s Been Good” has already garnered radio airplay across the nation and continues to gain momentum.

Tanj is a Twin Groves native who now resides in Conway. She is a wife and mother of two, who is excited about sharing her love for God through her music. Tanj is a very active member of her church, Anointed and Appointed Disciples through Jesus Christ in Conway.

She is confident in who God has created her to be and makes no apology for her unique style. “I do not feel that my style affects my relationship with God. It just makes me unique as a person and who He created me to be,” she said.

“He’s Been Good” was written and produced by Dumas native Chris McGehee. With D’Shawn Lamkin on bass, Derex Williams on lead and all other instrumentation by Chris McGehee, the music was recorded at Studio 910 in Little Rock. Tanj’s vocals were recorded and the song was mixed at Ferocious Production Studios in Little Rock by studio owner and producer Dondrae Vinson. “He’s Been Good” was mastered by Sean Hill of Uphill Studios in Dacula, Ga. Anjelica Records served as executive producer for the song.

“We did listen to Tanj sing ‘He’s Been Good’ and we think she has an amazing, energetic voice,” said Bob McKinley, a station manager in Windsor, Ontario.

Tanj is a contemporary Gospel artist, signed by Anjelica Records in February. Founded by Francez Riley in 2008, Anjelica Records is an independent record label located in Little Rock, whose mantra is “Helping Today’s Artists Become Tomorrow’s Starz.” For more information, email [email protected].
