Go Pink for the Cure Day Oct. 7

Gov. Asa Hutchinson has declared Friday, Oct. 7, as the 2016 Go Pink for the Cure Day in Arkansas.

The purpose of Go Pink Day is to raise awareness of the continuing plight of breast cancer in the state. Mayors across the state are being encouraged to follow suit and encourage citizens to wear pink and decorate storefronts and offices with pink ribbons in support of those battling the disease.

The 23rd Annual Race for the Cure is Saturday, Oct. 22, in Downtown Little Rock. For more information or to register, visit http://komenarkansas.org/.
