17 Nov 2014 Glenhaven Chili Bowl to be held this Saturday

The Glenhaven Chili Bowl is planned 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Ministry Center, 701 Polk St. in Conway.

The event – a chili cookoff with a tailgating theme – is sponsored by Kimberly-Clark. It includes a cookoff championship, Best Tailgate Contest, chili sampling, live entertainment and games.

General admission is $7 per person or $3 with a blanket or coat to donate to the Ministry Center.

The entry fee to compete in the chili cookoff is $20 per team and includes admission and T-shirts for three team members. The entry fee for the tailgate contest is $10 per team and includes admission and T-shirts for two team members.

The event benefits Glenhaven Youth Ranch, Soul Food Café and the Ministry Center.
