Glen Rose fell from its conference championship winning heights to an uncharacteristic 2-8 finish in 2014.

The Beavers return two upperclassmen in the backfield — senior Jordan Johnson and junior Jake Thompson at running back.

Juniors Austin Hughes and Sam Dawson bolster the receiver corps. Seniors Josh Holt and Britt Matlock and juniors Jacob Lowry and Mikey Elam lead the way upfront on the offensive line.

Matlock is a two-year returning starter at defensive end. Blake Edwards, senior Allen Eslinger and Elam fill out the defensive line. Johnson, Jacob Lowry and juniors Josh Lowry and Seth Davis provide depth at linebacker. Junior Garett Reed, Dawson, Thompson and junior Zane Rogers make up the secondary.
