24 Oct 2013 GFWC Century League of Morrilton to host 5K
The GFWC Century League of Morrilton will host its first Century League 5K on Saturday, Nov. 16. The race will begin at 9 a.m., and the start and finish line will be located on the University of Arkansas Community College campus in Morrilton. The entry fee is $25 for pre-registration or $30 the day of the race. Pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt. All participants registering after Monday, Nov. 4, or on race day, will receive a T-shirt while supplies last. Prizes will be awarded to overall male and female winners for first, second and third places, and additional prizes may be awarded based on participation. Registration forms can be picked up at the Morrilton Chamber of Commerce. The online registration link is racesonline.com. Participants are asked to bring canned goods on race day for the Conway County Care Center Harvest of Hope food drive. All proceeds from the race benefit the Morrilton Century League local projects including a scholarship program.
