First Community Bank to host grand opening celebration

CONWAY — First Community Bank will host a grand opening celebration at 766 Harkrider Street in Conway on Wednesday, May 29, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Immediately following the ribbon cutting, catfish and BBQ will be provided. Tours of the facility will also be available. In addition to the celebration, an art collection of more than 40 historical Conway photos will be unveiled, adding a touch of local history to the event.

“First Community Bank’s new banking center on Harkrider reflects our ongoing dedication to providing modern banking conveniences while fostering a welcoming environment for our valued customers,” said Grant Gordy, community president for Conway. “We are proud to be here, and we look forward to continue serving and supporting the Conway community.”

Flynco, Inc. of Little Rock, was the contractor for the project, and Tim Yelvington with RPPY Architects designed the 17,000-square-foot, two-story complex. The branch includes unique features such as a community café that offers refreshments and a coffee bar and a spacious community room that is available to the public for training and meeting purposes or even personal events or gatherings.

The bank’s lobby and drive-thru are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. First Community Bank offers competitive loan and deposit products and an impressive array of online and mobile banking services. Some of these include mobile banking and deposits, online bill pay, online/mobile account opening and custom eAlerts.
