Faulkner library to host lecture

The Faulkner County Library will welcome Kim Sanders of the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies at the Central Arkansas Library System as she presents a lecture on Japanese American Incarceration in World War II Arkansas at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21.

This lecture uses photographs, artwork and documents created during the wartime incarceration of Japanese Americans to address themes of identity, community, civil rights and justice that continue to be relevant today.
