Farmers Market to be held indoors this evening

MORRILTON — The First Thursday and Main Street Farmers Market will be held indoors from 4 to 7 p.m. this evening, Aug. 3. The event is presented by Main Street Morrilton.

Due to excessive heat warnings that are forecast, the farmers market committee decided to move the market indoors to the Event Center at Point Remove located on HWY 64 approximately one mile east of downtown Morrilton at 102 S. Crestliner St.

Merle Norman, Clover Alley and The Shoe Company will be open until 7 p.m. with First Thursday specials. Kordsmeier Music will perform at the indoor market in the event center. Jefferson’s Mobile Grilling will not be set up; however, the Pizza Factory at Point Remove will be open for dining as will Whole Hog Cafe, Two Guys Hibachi Express, Big Cuppa and Moo Scoops in Downtown Morrilton.

More details and the full list of vendors are available on Main Street Morrilton’s social media pages.

Participating businesses will remain open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and offer special promotions for customers.
