Fall antique car show Sept. 24-26

Antique Auto Enthusiasts will soon return to Petit Jean Mountain for the 23rd Annual Fall Antique Auto Swap Meet scheduled Thursday, Sept. 24, through Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Museum of Automobiles atop Petit Jean Mountain. 

Featured will be antique, classic and special interest automobiles for sale. In addition, more than 200 spaces will be filled with parts, supplies, books, memorabilia and numerous other hobby-related items.

The Swap Meet starts on Thursday, Sept. 24. All activities are open to the public and admission is free. Proceeds of this event go to support The Museum of Automobiles, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.

An added attraction is the “Open Car Show”that will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. There will be classes for virtually any vehicle made. Registration is $20 per car.

The Military Vehicle Rally has been canceled for this Swap Meet but will return next year.  

With the current situation of COVID-19, guidelines set out and approved by the state will be in place in order to have this event.
