Fall antique auto swap meet planned at Petit Jean

Antique auto enthusiasts will soon return to Petit Jean Mountain for the Seventeenth Annual Fall Antique Auto Swap Meet planned Wednesday, Sept. 24, through Saturday, Sept. 27.

Featured will be hundreds of antique, classic and special interest automobiles for sale. In addition, more than 600 spaces are available for parts, supplies, books, memorabilia and numerous other hobby-related items.

All activities are open to the public and admission is free. Proceeds of this event go to support The Museum of Automobiles, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.

An added attraction is the “Open Car Show” that will be held on Saturday Sept. 27. There will be classes for virtually any vehicle made. Registration is $30 which includes one free admission to The Museum of Automobiles.

The Military Vehicle Rally will be bigger and better. More than 50 restored vehicles of all sizes will be on display. Also, driving and individual activities will be conducted Friday and Saturday.
