Fairfield Bay to kick off ATV/UTV trails Sept. 16

Fairfield Bay will kick off its new ATV/UTV trails with a Poker Rally at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.

With more than 90 miles of trails, Fairfield Bay is the ultimate destination for an ATV weekend. From trails with skill levels ranging from easy to advance, there is a trail appropriate for anyone.

"These trails are the best around, hands-down," said Jack Weeks, a Fairfield Bay resident and UTV enthusiast. "We’ve been blessed to live in a beautiful, wooded corner of the Ozarks that I can enjoy while still letting my thrill-seeking, adventure-loving side enjoy the Bay."

Those participating in the inaugural ATV/UTV Poker Rally will meet at Woodland Mead Park and explore 14,000 acres with nine stops. Registration is 9 to 11 a.m. The cost is $25 per entry with $5 for each additional individual. The cost includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and soft drinks and a live band kicking off at 4 p.m. Prizes will be awarded.
