The Fairfield Bay Endless Summer Bash will be held noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Cool Pool Café.

Fairfield Bay is where the fun of summer never ends and to prove it, the community is hosting the first Endless Summer Bash. There will be games, food, pickleball and an evening concert by country singing sensation Heath Sanders.

“The summer fun never ends at Fairfield Bay,” said Cassie Lopez, recreation manager. “We’ve been fortunate with beautiful weather all season, so we decided to soak up more sun with another all-day family picnic party. There will be lots of old-fashion pool and lawn games. We’re super excited about having Heath Sanders perform for us as well. What a talent!”

Heath is a former oil field worker from Arkansas turned full-time musician. His cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Either Way” went viral and caught the attention of Bobby Bones in February. He’s been selling out shows since then and has been in the studio recording his first song, “Bloodline,” that will be released in the next few weeks. Tickets are $10.

Lawn games start at 1 p.m. and will include lawn pong, cornhole, horseshoes, volleyball and shuffleboard. Water games start at 3 p.m., with a water balloon toss for the kids.

David Redding will direct a pickleball tournament. Games start at 9 a.m., with lunch included. Registration forms are available at the Fairfield Bay Recreation office. The entry fee is $20.

Hamburgers and hot dogs will be grilled during the event, with a burger or dog, chips and drink for only $5.
