Depression and suicide discussion to be held at library

September is National Suicide Prevention Month.  Suicide awareness is at a high level because of the recent loss of celebrity Robin Williams to suicide.

The Faulkner County Library will host a panel discussion about depression and suicide prevention on at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23.  The discussion will include what you can do to help yourself and your loved ones cope with depression.

Lou Strain, a licensed independent psychological examiner with 28 years of experience at Counseling Associates, will be the moderator. She is the director of program operations and director of emergency services at CAI.

Refreshments will be served.

All library programs are free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 501.327.7482 or email [email protected].
