Crain-Maling Center of Jewish Culture hosts Dan Raviv

The Crain-Maling Center of Jewish Culture at Hendrix will welcome best-selling author and foreign news correspondent Dan Raviv at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Worsham Hall.

There will be refreshments and photos from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and a book-signing at 8 p.m. after he speaks.

This event is free and open to the public.

Raviv is a national correspondent for CBS News. A New York native and Harvard graduate, he began his on-air career assigned to the Tel Aviv bureau. He reported for more than two decades from 35 countries for CBS News.

An expert on worldwide espionage and foreign affairs, Raviv has interviewed Olmert, Peres, Sharon, Barak, Netanyahu, Arafat, Mubarak and all the major Middle East players. Raviv is the Washington-based national correspondent for the radio network hosting CBS News Weekend Roundup. He is the author of several books, including his new best-seller “Spies of Armageddon: Inside Israel’s Secret Wars.”

Raviv will discuss the relationship between the United States and Israel following President Obama’s re-election, as well as Israel’s relations with Iran and Palestine.
