22 May 2015 Conway Regional to host Red Cross blood drive

Conway Regional Medical Center will host an American Red Cross blood drive.

The drive will be held in the auditorium from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 10.

The names of all donors will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Walmart gift card each day of the drive.  

According to the American Red Cross, each donation of whole blood can benefit as many as three people. The drive comes at a crucial time to help offset summer shortages that are inevitable with increased boating and motorcycle accidents that are typical during the summer months.

Donors can make appointments online at redcrossblood.org using the sponsor code CNWREG or by calling 1.800.733.2767. However, walk-in donors are accepted.
