Conway Regional board approves expansion of Greenbrier clinic

The Conway Regional Board of Directors has approved architectural design and engineering for a new facility to house Greenbrier Family Medicine Clinic, as well as additional clinic space for specialty physicians, physical therapy and an onsite health and fitness center.

Construction is expected to begin by the end of 2018. When complete, the new facility will have more than 20,000 square feet of space and will be located at 110 N. Broadview, the current location of Greenbrier Family Medicine. Conway Regional’s Greenbrier Therapy Services will relocate from the existing location at 8 E Wilson Farm Road to the new facility.

Greenbrier Family Medicine is led by James Fulmer, MD, along with Jarrod Jerry, APRN, Lauren Blansett, APRN, Amanda Keesear, APRN, and Starla Emery, APRN.

“The Greenbrier area and northern Faulkner County have been a key focus of Conway Regional’s efforts to improve the health of our community as demonstrated 22 years ago when we first opened Greenbrier Family Medicine,” said Alan Finley, chief operating officer for Conway Regional Health System. “As a Greenbrier resident, myself, I appreciate the need to have healthcare services close to home, and it makes me very proud to work for an organization as progressive as Conway Regional who strives to meet these community needs.”

In August, clinic hours were expanded to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday to better accommodate the needs of busy parents, students and others who can’t always visit a doctor during the day.

“This is another important step in how we are working to accommodate our growing patient base in the Greenbrier community and in northern Faulkner County,” said Dr. James Fulmer, MD, a family practice doctor who has practiced in Greenbrier for eight years. “We want to offer all the services that our patients need to improve their wellness.”

The Conway Regional Primary Care Network includes nine other family clinics in Conway, Mayflower, Vilonia, Pottsville, Russellville and Clinton. To contact Greenbrier Family Medicine Clinic, call 501.679.3551.
