Conway Men’s Chorus plans spring pops performance

The Conway Men’s Chorus will present its 18th Spring Pops Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with free admission and parking.

To help celebrate the spring season, musical selections by the 55-plus voice volunteer group will include new and familiar favorites such as “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” “In Everything Her Loveliness,” “Where There Is Light in the Soul,” “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “Sweet Caroline” and “A Psalm of Life.”

In addition to these and other songs, there will be special musical guest performers.

This concert will be dedicated to the memories of Betty Courtway, long-time supporter and chorus sponsor, and Bill Ferguson, a charter chorus member and chorus music librarian as well as past chorus chairman.
