Conway Men’s Chorus invites public to free concert next Tuesday

As part of its 25th Anniversary year, the Conway Men’s Chorus will present its 2023 Christmas Holiday Concert at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Reynolds Performance Hall on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas. Doors open at 6:30 with free admission and parking.

Under the musical direction of Jordan Bennett, the Conway Men’s Chorus will present a wide variety of Christmas and seasonal selections from sacred to traditional to popular—plus the annual audience sing-along of favorite Christmas carols.

Joining the 65+ men on stage will be special guest performers—the Conway Women’s Chorus—who will perform several of their Christmas concert songs and will sing with the Men’s Chorus on three songs.

Songs to be included are the 1943 Bing Crosby WWII favorite “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” the popular early English Christmas Carol “In the Bleak Midwinter,” the 1963 Andy Williams holiday hit “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” the lively and popular late 1940s “Sleigh Ride, the Hawaiian-themed favorite “Mele Kalikimaka,” the much beloved Christmas favorite “O Holy Night” and Kenny Rogers’ highly popular 1984 Christmas classic “Mary Did You Know?”
