Conway High marching band wins top awards at showcase

The Conway High School Marching Band came home with awards in every category following an incredible performance Saturday at the 2013 Showcase of Bands at War Memorial Stadium.

Forty-eight bands were entered in the competition – 24 in Class AA/AAA and 24 in AAAA/AAAAA.

The Conway band won numerous awards, including the highest honor, the Brandon Award, presented for the most musical performance in class AAAA/AAAAA.

  • First Division Color Guard
  • First Division Drum Line
  • First Division Band

  • Outstanding General Effect

Drum majors are Miki Brewington, Maddie Shaw and Jake Bass. Directors are Tim Cunningham, Dewayne Wilson and Paul Taylor.
