Conway County Library to expand bookmobile route

The Conway County Library recently announced that beginning Tuesday, Jan. 2, the bookmobile will be running routes Tuesday through Friday and expand the coverage at each stop. 

The new schedule:

 

  • Tuesdays: Birdtown Grocery (2 to 3:30 p.m.) and Cleveland Grocery (4 to 5:30 p.m.)
  • Wednesdays: Menifee City Hall (noon to 1:30 p.m.), Plumerville City Hall (2 to 3:30 p.m.) and Decker’s Store in Springfield (4 to 5:30 p.m.)
  • Thursdays: Beeson’s Grocery in Hattieville (noon to 1:30 p.m.), Circle H Store in Jerusalem (2 to 3:30 p.m.) and Nick’s Grocery in St. Vincent (4 to 5:30 p.m.)
  • Fridays: Oppelo City Hall (noon to 1:30 p.m.) and Museum of Automobiles on Petit Jean Mountain (2 to 3:30 p.m.)

 

The library is also working to add Wonderview and Nemo Vista schools to the schedule soon. With this new schedule, the library hopes to expand and improve service to all of Conway County. The plan is to also be able to accommodate other facilities within the county to ensure the best services are provided.
