Conway Corporation recognized for outstanding service

Conway Corporation was recently recognized for excellence in customer service as well as quality local programming.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Twelve customer service and cable professionals were awarded Customer Service Excellence Awards at the 2013 Mid-America Cable Show held in Branson, Mo.

Beth McCullough, marketing coordinator, was recognized in the cable champion category. This category recognizes outstanding achievement in leadership and recognizes those who develop programs that make life easier or better for front line staff.

Service Technician Brandon McNew, Lead Customer Care Specialist Jane Harrison and Customer Care Specialists Emily Boyle, Michele Hatfield and Phyllis Stubbs were recognized in the repair/service category.

Customer Accounts Manager Takenya Flack and Customer Care Specialist Amy Loggins received recognition in the billing category. Awards are based on entrants’ concern for their customer’s individual needs and resolution of the situation to the customer’s satisfaction.

Amy Loggins, Takenya Flack and Beth McCullough were among the Conway Corporation customer service professionals recently recognized by the Mid-America Cable organization at its annual meeting. Loggins and Flack were both recognized in the billing category. McCullough received top recognition in the cable champion category. This category recognizes outstanding achievement in leadership and recognizes those who develop programs that make life easier or better for front line staff.

Commercial Account Executive Eleise Myers and Customer Care Specialists Michelle Hatfield and Kelly Wirtz received recognition in the sales category. Customer Service Specialist Rachael Myers was recognized in the upgrade sales category and Customer Care Specialist Tanya Peace in the retention category. Each of these category awards are based on presentation of features and benefits including product knowledge.

The Customer Service Excellence Award program was established by cable television professionals in 1986 to recognize and award customer contact personnel excellence in the cable television industry.

PROGRAMMING
Conway Corporation’s marketing and media production departments received five MIDI Awards at the 2013 Mid-America Cable Show.

The “We are…” advertising series, featuring the Conway Corporation employees, received second place in the marketing and promotion category. Marketing and Public Relations Manager Crystal Kemp and Marketing Coordinator Beth McCullough received the recognition for this campaign.

Marketing and Public Relations Manager Crystal Kemp and Marketing Coordinator Beth McCullough were recently honored for Conway Corporation’s “We are…” advertising series, featuring the Conway Corporation employees, in the marketing and promotion category from the Mid-America Cable organization at its annual meeting.

Conway Corporation local programming swept the community programming series category winning first, second and third place. Burn, featuring host Robin Dayer, received third place. Living Local, hosted by Heather Kendrick, received second place, with Production Coordinator Wayne Bailey receiving recognition for producing both shows. Wampus Cat Football, received first place in the category. Bailey and Production Coordinator Ryan Tucker were recognized for production on Wampus Cat Football.

In addition, Tucker received first place recognition in the cable advertising category for the production of a monthly promotion commercial for Silver Moon Cinema.

The Mid-America Cable Show includes cable telecommunications system operators in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, Arkansas and Texas.
