Conway Christian names new president/CEO

Conway Christian School on Monday announced Jason L. Carson has been appointed as the school’s new president and CEO.

Carson will begin as the new executive in charge of all school functions effective Wednesday, June 1. The Conway Christian board of trustees expects this hire to position the school for future success in organizational leadership, academic prowess, comprehensive best practices as well as growth in student enrollment.

Carson comes to Conway Christian after spending 15 years serving in a leadership capacity at Little Rock Christian Academy. His most recent position was director of institutional advancement in charge of admissions, development and marketing. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville.

“I am humbled by the opportunity to lead such a fine school. Our goal from day one will be to form relationships within the Conway metro area, serving families who desire a Christian, collegiate education which at its core includes the daily pursuit of excellence and a commitment to partnership. Serving the community, the local churches and families is a passion of mine. I look forward to developing intentional and authentic relationships in the very near future. I believe Conway Christian has the opportunity for well-orchestrated growth in the coming years as families bear witness to our commitment of providing the best possible Christian and collegiate education.”

Under Carson’s leadership, CCS will seek to be a leader in organizational excellence in the Conway area while remaining true to the Christian principles which define all aspects of the school’s mission. Implementing best practices is a strength of Carson, as is his broad network in the national Christian, collegiate school community.
