Conway Christian Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Michael Carter was recently elected president of the Arkansas Football Coaches Association.  

The vote came during the annual coaches clinic and meeting held recently in Hot Springs.  

“It’s a great honor and I’m very excited to represent the football coaches of Arkansas,” said Carter.  

The Arkansas Football Association has more than 700 members that represent class 2A-7A conferences in the Arkansas Activities Associations.  

Carter has been at Conway Christian as athletic director and head football coach for the past five years.
