09 Mar 2026 City of Maumelle Announces Grand Opening Weekend for Millwood Station
MAUMELLE — The City of Maumelle invites residents and visitors to celebrate the grand opening weekend of Millwood Station, Maumelle’s newest community park and gathering space, March 13–15.

Located at 100 Millwood Circle, Millwood Station is designed as a destination for community events, local food trucks and outdoor activities. The park features dedicated food truck spaces, a pavilion for farmers markets and vendor events, a small performance stage, bike racks, public restrooms and green space for residents to enjoy. The park will host events throughout the year and serve as a hub for community gatherings.
“Millwood Station sits on a corner that carries deep meaning for our community,” said Mayor Caleb Norris. “This site was once home to Maumelle’s first police station, fire department and courts building. The name Millwood Station is a nod to that history. For many residents, this corner represents the early days of our city and the people who helped protect it. It’s special to see that same location now transformed into a place where the community can gather, celebrate and create new memories.”
The grand opening weekend will include a variety of activities for all ages:
Friday, March 13 – Grand Opening Celebration
The weekend will kick off with a Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 5 p.m. The ceremony will include a special flag-raising ceremony at the Millwood Station entrance sign.
Saturday, March 14 – Bella on the Boulevard
Millwood Station will host Bella on the Boulevard, a vintage vendor shopping event featuring unique finds and local vendors.
Sunday, March 15 – Music at Millwood Station
The weekend will conclude with Music at Millwood Station, featuring live music in the park’s stage area.
Millwood Station will be home to several food trucks, including Tacos Atilano, Phonzie’s 1 Stop Hog Shop, Wing Krave, Kingdom Made Treats and Travelin Coffee and Crepes. Visitors are encouraged to follow each vendor on Facebook for menus and operating hours.
Limited parking is available inside the park. Event and overflow parking will be available across the street at First Baptist Church. Visitors are encouraged to use the designated crosswalk at the Millwood Circle and Maumelle Boulevard intersection.
Additional events are planned throughout 2026. For updates and event information, follow Millwood Station at facebook.com/MillwoodStation or check the calendar of events at Maumelle.org. Millwood Station represents the City of Maumelle’s continued investment in community spaces.
