Celebrating in Heber Springs

Michael and Rachel Jett have spent countless Christmas holidays like so many others — on the road.

As their daughter, Sloan, started getting older it was important for them to get closer to family, spend less time on the road and begin establishing their own “family traditions.” “We fell in love with Heber Springs and knew it would be the perfect place, closer to family, to raise our daughter,” Rachel said.

Rachel does a beautiful job decorating for Christmas. “We love to entertain and host Christmas parties throughout the holidays. Our open floor plan really works well for that,” Rachel said. The Jett home boasts three Christmas trees and Rachel incorporates Christmas throughout the house in neat and unique ways.

“This will be our third Christmas in Heber. We love that Santa brings presents here now and Sparkle the Elf comes. Sloan gets to have a Christmas tree in her room and we love being home and reading the Christmas story,” Rachel said.

The kitchen table is simple yet distinctive with the hanging shelf adorned with fresh greenery, Christmas balls and red and green snowflakes. The hutch displaying Santa plates is the perfect backdrop to the simple candle holder. Instead of candles, Rachel uses red, green and white balls to add color and catch your eye.
