CBC announces wrestling signees

Central Baptist College head wrestling coach Ken Prophete has announced more signings for his 2019-20 recruiting class. 

The new members from the 501 include:

Cody Tazelar, from Bryant, is 6’1” and 185 pounds. He attended Bryant High School and was a 2012 Brute All-American.

Taylor Traffenstedt comes to CBC from Greenbrier. A 6’0” 182-pounder, Traffanstedt was a member of two state championship teams for the Panthers and was also a four-time duel state champion.

Members from out of state:

Michael Brumbeloe, from Hayden, Ala., is 6’1” and 160 lbs. He was a two-year varsity letterman at Hayden High School and a fourth-place finisher at last year’s Alabama state championship.

Cody Freeman comes to CBC from Oklahoma City Southeast High School. The 6’4” 285 pounder was on the honor roll and the principal’s list last year and earned Elevate Awards for Determination, Courage and Responsibility. He was also a finalist at the 2019 Oklahoma State championships, where he finished second in the heavyweight division.

Darron Harvey Jr. comes to CBC from Dubberly, La. A 5-8, 285-pounder, he was a three-time state finalist and the 2018 Louisiana State Champion from Lakeside Jr./Sr. High School.
