Catholic Schools Week Jan 27-Feb. 2

A variety of special events and activities are scheduled Jan. 27-Feb. 2 in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. The theme is “Raise the Standards.”

At St. Joseph Catholic School in Conway, weeklong activities include a book fair, a food drive for Soul Food Café and a “Loose Change Drive” for Seminarians on all campuses.

Elementary students will create cards and pictures for shut-ins and those who are sick. Middle and high school students will prepare appreciation cards for endowment fund supporters and welcome cards for PRE classes.

On Tuesday, each classroom teacher will share a brief history of St. Joseph with their students and talk to their class about what attending our Catholic school means to them.

On Thursday, a Grandparent Lunch is planned at the middle/high school. A slide show presentation promoting the school will be shown at lunch.

Friday will be “Jeans and Bulldog T-shirt Day.”
